Official visit of the Dean of the School of International Relations to Ataturk University for academic collaboration

Expansion of Academic and Educational Cooperation Between the School of International Relations During Dr. Dehshiri’s Visit to Erzurum

During the visit of Dr. Mohammad Reza Dehshiri, Dean of the School of International Relations, to the city of Erzurum on 9 July 2026, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Academic and Educational Cooperation
was signed between the School of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Atatürk University, Türkiye. The
MoU was signed by Dr. Mohammad Reza Dehshiri, Dean of the School of International Relations, and Dr. Hüseyin Alikütükoğlu, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Atatürk University, in the presence of Dr. Bülent Çavuşoğlu, Vice Rector of Atatürk University, and Dr. Eghbali Zarch, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Erzurum. The agreement aims to strengthen educational, academic, and research cooperation between the two institutions through initiatives including the organization of joint academic programs, faculty and student exchanges, and the expansion of inter-university collaboration.

As part of the same visit, Dr. Mohammad Reza Dehshiri, Dean of the School of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, held a cordial and constructive meeting with Professor Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, Rector of Atatürk University, together with the University’s vice rectors, in the presence of Dr. Eghbali Zarch, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Erzurum. During the meeting, the participants exchanged views on expanding academic and institutional cooperation, enhancing scientific and educational exchanges, and strengthening collaboration between the two institutions.
